Come help us prepare and serve dinner for Project WeHope, including sitting down to eat with the shelter guests. We will prepare dinner in the Hope's Corner kitchen at LAUMC's Mountain View campus from 3:00-5:30 pm and then transport and serve the meal at Project WeHOPE at 1854 E. Bay Rd., East Palo Alto. Plan to arrive at Project WeHOPE at 6:20 (factor in the traffic) and serve dinner at 6:45 pm. Age Requirement: 13+ Please wear/bring: closed toe shoes; hat or hair tie The mission of Project WeHOPE is to help the unhoused, homeless and those at-risk in rebuilding their lives through a Supportive Housing Program customized to the needs of each client. Project WeHOPE is an acronym for We Help Other People Excel. Through our devotion to helping others, our long-term goal is to help improve the health of East Palo Alto by helping others overcome the critical issues facing homelessness and poverty in our cities.
